All of the above hunts are 1 x 1 guide ratio, and include most if not all air charter fees (charter fees with most other outfitters usually cost several hundred dollars additional). Some of my sheep and moose hunts are conducive to 1 x 2 guide ratios for friends or family in good physical condition that want to hunt together. The price is usually about 10 % less per person and we can usually add a day or two in length if you book early.
We also produce 2 excellent video guides on moose calling and hunting and manufacture the “Bull Magnet™ “- a fiber glass megaphone that serves 5 useful functions for calling and hunting moose. Check them out at:

May 2009 News Letter
Prospective Clients,
I
still have one Prime time,
“Deluxe” Dall Sheep and one Grizzly bear hunt that I’d like to sell for
2009 (August and September).
These are prime hunts on prime dates. I
generally take a maximum of two hunts during any time period. Each hunter
will have their own guide, most likely Dave McHoes or myself. Dave is a
registered guide, a rural resident of the area, and is very qualified and
tough as nails. We
worked
very well together last year.

Wayne & Dave
I moved to Alaska in 1976,
became an assistant big game guide in the early 1980’s, got licensed as a
registered guide and started my own guide business – Alaska Remote Guide
Service – in 1986, and achieved Master Guide status a few years back. I
also started flying in the late seventies, bought my first Piper Cub in
1981, and have acquired 5000 plus hours of
Alaska Bush Flying experience.
I’ve conducted numerous hunts for Moose, brown/grizzly &
black bear, dall sheep, and
caribou for clients from many parts of the world.
My wife and I also make the
“Bull Magnet™” moose calling megaphone and
produce two detailed video
guides on moose calling and hunting – “Love, Thunder & Bull in Alaska”,
volumes 1 and 2.
I will work exceptionally hard
to provide you a safe and enjoyable hunting experience and to get you a
good trophy or trophies!
Sincerely,
Wayne Kubat

2008 News Letter
I
only took three hunters in 2008, due in large part because it was time to
finally deal with some injuries I had acquired over the years. I tore the
acl and meniscus on my right knee during a spring bear hunt in 1996.
After wearing a brace for 11 years, I had surgery in October 2007. That
surgery went so well, that I decided to get my left shoulder (rotator
cuff) taken care of as well in December. I completely recovered from both
surgeries and am good to go for the long haul! I guided every day on
every hunt, had a great time, and every hunter took home a good trophy.
Neil Lott -
despite having knee surgery himself only 3 months before - bagged a 12
year old Dall Ram on the 4th day of hunting with us that measured 37
inches. He had tried twice before with other outfitters for Dall Sheep and
once for Stone Sheep, without luck. He also took a spring brown bear with
me in 1997.

Mark Payton hunted
grizzlies in April with some one else and didn't connect, so tried with us
in early September. He took a nice grizzly also on the 4th day of his
hunt. We saw two others prior to this one.

Gerald Fox hunted
for grizzlies in mid September. We had an exceptionally tough stretch of
weather with almost continuous rain during most of his hunt. Gerald
didn't get a grizzly, but he did get a nice big black bear on the last
evening of his last day. He was very pleased with our efforts and plans
to return in 2009.

I have an
incredible “Sole Use” National Park Service Concession in Denali Preserve
and conduct about 6 Dall Sheep and 6 Brown or Grizzly Bear hunts per year.
Please contact us if you are considering an Alaskan Hunt!!
Sincerely,
Wayne Kubat
